A photojournalist based out of Taos, New Mexico, Daniel has a passion for social justice work and uplifting the voices of the unheard.

Previous work has been at the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Orange County Business Journal and the Orange County Register.

Graduated from Chapman University in 2023 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a Minor in Visual Journalism. Served as a Staff Photographer and Photo Editor at Chapman University’s student-run newspaper, The Panther.

Other experience includes contract work at Outside Magazine, interning at the Orange Coast Magazine, as well as reporting and photographing for Voice of OC, a nonprofit news outlet in Orange County that has an investigative and social justice centered mission.

Grew up in National Parks throughout Colorado, Utah, California, Washington, Idaho, and Arizona, alongside a foreign exchange in Valparaíso, Chilé. Daniel enjoys running, reading, and exploring with a camera in his free time.
